Stuck in the middle

I have lots of unfinished works, some written on paper, others on my computer.

I know where it begins, I know where it ends and I can envision the characters and what I want them to do.
But for the life of me I cannot see my way through the middle of my story to the end. I can't bring my characters from their village through the woods to the prize at the end. I lose inspiration and ideas through the middle of my story.

Can anyone suggest scam over this?
