Cool dream I had

A low, rumbling chime sounded from the south wall bell tower; today's lessons were done.
The sky overhead had grown orange, the sun was quickly dissapearing behind the trees ringing the university. Its dying rays cast faint glimmers off of the glassy surfaces of the pillars and floor of the outside sanctum.
My father would be arriving shortly in one of those wheeled contraptions to take me home, but the concept of home for me had somewhat shifted. Home was where my studies were, home was where the magic was. Home was where I could be entrenched in the fascinating history of this mighty ruin.
Alas, I could not stay even if I tried. The university was very well guarded at night. I simply gathered up my sheaf of notes, and joined two other apprentices who descended the small staircase onto the main floor. We crossed the great seal of the main atrium, speaking of our latest research topics and...I woke up
