I'd like to meet someone intellectual who has similar interests to mine, interested in sharing the events of their day with me, interested in my day. Someone to talk to, to do things with, someone to just be around and not have to say anything.

I love to read (I'm a romantic who enjoys mental escape); right now my reading choices tend to be fiction based on historical events, mysteries, and the occasional Kaiju book. I enjoy writing, though some of my current work is a little too risque for the under 18 crowd. My goal is to write something less trashy and more publishable. I've got a mystery series that is just dying to be written and a historical fantasy you could help me with. Word play is important to me. I find verbal waltzing and intellectual stimulation very attractive.

I love music. My Pandora stations get quite a work out. I also love old movies, film noir being a favorite and just about anything from the 1940s. My other interests include cycling, photography, travel, history, and archaeology. I don't watch a lot of television, but when I do, it's usually Turner Classic Movies, The History Channel and Supernatural.
