Compelling? Trying to bring history, feelings, and art to life through words. Hm. So...I am actually a musician and historian by nature, but I have always had a love for literature and writing. I write poetry and short stories, and read quite a bit of those sorts of things. I play viola, violin, and piano, as well. I am a docent in a museum and I work in a coffee shop, as well as go to school and play in a few orchestras. My favourite authors: Kafka, Fitzgerald, Doyle, Dumas, Charlotte Bronte, Lovecraft, Perkins Gilman, Goethe, Shakespeare, Bradbury, Roth, Morrison, Vonnegut, Poe. Favourite books: The Pianist, Night, Everything is Illuminated, The Catcher in the Rye, Seabiscuit, Survival in Auschwitz, Tom Bedlam, Slaughterhouse Five. Favourite poets: d---enson and Pasternak.
