It was Christmas night and the house was still.

Susan(age 42)had spent the day reading after exchanging gifts with her girls -- Brittany, her daughter, and Anna, her granddaughter.

Besides a perfect writing day, reading is how she loves to spend her time. However, something is missing.

She longs for conversations with someone who understands and shares her love of a great story.

She dreams of eventually having a relationship with someone who accepts her quiet, 'spacey' nature.

She is a bit shy and reserved. However, she has a lot to offer to someone willing to take the time to get to know her.

Writing about me is not easy. So I created a small character profile.

I read most anything - except westerns, horror, and explicit material(I am a bit old fashioned).

I am a freelance blogger and writer.

Also, I want to write fiction but something holds me back.

I have tried many dating sites in the past with little luck, but here I am trying one last time. Hopefully, here I can find someone who gets me.

I am looking for a friendship first and foremost. The relationship needs to be slow -- not just one or two messages.

To be honest, I am not sure that what I want is out there.
