Greetings fellow wordsmiths! I'm a book author/il----rator/playwright who's spent her whole life adventuring as a patient in the oxymoron which is called the American healthcare industry. I view each of my health adventures as plot twists in my life story, and for every one of them I feel profoundly grateful. These adventures have molded me into the survivor and writer I am today.

I've done my best to write my way to wellness, or as close to it as I could get, from every health challenge I've encountered during my adventures,, and I'm justifiably proud of the results so far. I've attended performances of close to ten of my one act plays produced by a high school, a private college, and in community theaters, and my first book was published. In the book I shared the pink lemonade I made to help myself reach remission when a 2021 life story plot twist gave me lemons in the form of a breast cancer diagnosis.

I consider myself a reader first and a writer second. Naturally, I don't need to explain to my fellow writers that spending lots of time reading and writing requires lots of solitude. I have found over the years though that non-writers haven't been very good fits for me in relationships, or even in friendships a lot of the time, due to how personally fulfilling, gratifying and meaningful I find the solitude in which I luxuriate to do my reading and writing. So now, as I'm nearing the second anniversary of my second divorce from a second non-writer, I've finally created a profile here on Writers Passions.

I'm here taking a chance. i want to find out if I'll connect with another person who also loves and protects the time they spend alone reading and writing, but who, like me, would also like to forge a meaningful connect with someone outside of the imaginary worlds they're losing themselves in through all that blissful reading and writing.
