Returnee to writing following a break to bring up the children without them having to wonder why my mind's always somewhere else.

It's nice rediscovering this essential part of me and interesting to see how everything's moved on.

Emerging from parenthood means more time, freedom and head space and it would be nice to share some of this. What struck me about this site is the possibility of meeting people who won't ask 'what do you write about?', mention how they would write a book if they had the time or think it's ok to drop round because you can just stop typing and pick it up later.

Obviously I'll return to this to edit and edit again and re-edit and re-write and .... you know exactly what I mean!
