Getting Published Is the Goal

Getting Published Is the Goal I have been working on several projects over the passed 10 years. With a few set backs between now and then, I've found myself having to start over on two very major projects (my babies so to speak). It has been frustrating, to say the least, as I had made great headway on both projects which were lost when my computer was stolen six years ago. Since I failed to make a back up of ALL my work, I have learned a painful lesson with regards to that. I was, however, fortunate to have a back up of at least one project. I enjoy writing fantasy, historical fantasy and historical romances as well as fantasy (netherworld) romance, and Gothic tales. I've dabbled in poetry, and enjoy writing it. Since the death of my mother two years ago (2010) after a short battle with cancer, and the growing madness of my younger brother, I've found myself lacking a muse. My inspiration has left me, and it is most distressing.

It is my hope that I can connect with writers who share my own interests, and perhaps gain inspiration from it. Two of my closest friends are published writers; one of poetry and the other of a Gothic Novel entitled Morbid Adventures. They often give me endless encouragement to continue writing, but as I've stated previously; my inspiration has run dry.
