Writing opens windows even if doors are shut I love to write. I don't do it for reasons of financial gain. I'm not required to write for an assigment or because I'm pressured into it. I do it for the simple reason of enjoying it. I open up more when I write than I can verbally. I've so often tripped over words when trying to connect with someone in person. I've bit my tongue and held in emotions when I should've screamed. I've kept quiet when I really disagreed with someone of authority. But when writing... I don't have those same boundaries. I don't have to get along with anyone or listen to anyone. Its just me and my thoughts. Sometimes they flow from me so quickly its like opening a floodgate and just watching rushing waters. Other times its like throwing a pebble into an empty well and waiting to see how long it takes it to hit the bottom. But its something. A way to communicate all the things that I hold back from saying verbally. I can organize my thoughts. I can use spellcheck. I can press delete. If I think of dating and relationships like writing a blog, I wonder how many times I'd hit save and how many times I'd just hit delete.
