I write a lot. Or I text a lot, on my phone, I actually write little with the pen on paper. Writing for me is more about expressing myself through my fictional characters than to write a story.
I don't publish anything. Heck I don't even share my writings usually. It's more a very personal secret world than something I share with others but I'm open to some criticism every now and then.
