i never get tired of watching the play of sunlight. . through leaves in the woods, slanting through my living room in the late afternoon, dripping up in pink gold on a dawn horizon. i love being around people who see life poetically, cinematically, and with great wonder. i’m looking for a man who can construct delicious thoughtful unusual sentences, is fluent in compassionate and vulnerable language, and is no stranger to metaphor. i’m an optimist despite great contradictory evidence. i’m super independent, yet i’m built for partnership. i’m a nurturer and prefer to listen more than speak, but i’ve also been a performer my whole life and adore people. ( in an introverted extrovert sort of way. ) i’m tactile, love to sit on the floor, eat mostly wholesome simple food but i’m part foodie too, always. a long hike or a good movie on a cozy couch is always at least as fun as going out in public. i love scrabble, and games that inspire laughter.. i love acoustic music across many genres, generally the older the better. i’m often an advocate of traditional but rarely of conventional. i’m fairly tech-competent but i’m always wanting to find ways to lessen the time my eyes are on a screen. i’ve been a performing songwriter for a long time and i’ve just entered the world of playwright… . i’d call myself an essayist but i don’t have a platform for it currently… i miss the art of letter-writing and non-abbreviation. i treasure my friends who are good conversationalists, where it feels like there’s always more to say, but we also enjoy shared silence.
