Writing is....
Writing is.... a great way to let your imagination soar and get it into a permanent medium. Through well-chosen words can you paint as vivid a picture as an artist can accomplish with paints, etc. Having made my living through writing (daily newspaper) I've always enjoyed the challenge of making the reading "feel like he's been there." When I read, which is daily, I enjoy the challenge of picturing what the author would like me to see, feel, hear, etc. By the same token, I hope that I'm doing the same for my readers.
