Aspiring writer... I started writing at a young age but I can't remember what got me writing. Sometimes I have these crazy dreams and I say to myself "damn that would make an interesting story". So I write them down and share my ideas with close friends and based on their feedback I decide whether I want to develope my dream into a full blown story. I have a crap load of dreams laying around that I haven't even started to work on yet.
I don't have any writer friends and I think it would be good for me to have friends that write as well. I write mostly fantasy and I might start getting into a but nothing too heavy.
