When someone pays you for the first writing job... Man o' man. Once I started getting paid for writing it shifted purpose. There's a big difference between being a writer and a guy who can tell a funny story at a party. Comedy is about timing, language and repeating that same performance consistently in any room or stage.
Never tire. Always write and put those little inclings of a thought on paper FAST or else 420 will eat them before you turn it into money in the bank.
