I can write off everything... Writing is so zen. If I experience a misfortune, it's good news because I can write about it. Bring it on!!

I grew up with George Szell as almost part of the family. I learned music theory as a toddler (at the same time that I learned how to read). As a child, I had no idea that playing under a grand piano while Mom practiced was something unusual.

Music was my first love. I think that music patterns my understanding of my professional life as a writer. I learned improvisation and am invited to perform at some local events.

From observing my mother, I very naturally learned to lead a relatively disciplined life. Even so, I love to laugh and enjoy time with friends.
